Etching

Etching is a genre of printmaking that encompasses a broad variety of different techniques. Cardigraphs are made by carving into a special type of cardboard and then printing it. Monotypes are prints that are freely painted right into the plate and are one of a kind. Monoprints are a process of using the same plate and inking it uniquely every time.
